The Bemidji Police Department responded to the following calls:


1:10 a.m. Thursday, Fourth Street Northwest and Beltrami Avenue Northwest. A male was arrested on suspicion of felony driving while intoxicated, fleeing a police officer on food, driving after cancelation inimical to public safety and illegal use of license plates.


10:47 a.m. Thursday, Birchmont Drive Northeast. A Bemidji State University parking permit was stolen.

Bike theft

11:25 a.m. Thursday, 1100 block of Birchmont Court Northeast. A bike was stolen. No additional information was listed.

4:37 p.m. Thursday, 900 block of Lake Boulevard Northeast. Two hybrid peony plants were stolen.
