Hockey Day is coming to Bemidji; 13th annual event set for winter 2019

Assisted Living Week to be celebrated

Everyone is invited to the Good Samaritan Society -- Blackduck Senior Living as they celebrate National Assisted Living Week, Sept. 12-19 with three exciting events.

On Sept. 12 from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. on the Good Samaritan - Blackduck Senior Living campus grounds. This is a free will donation for the pulled pork sandwich lunch. Area law enforcement agencys and organizations will offer safety seminars and have equipment on display with free make and take first aid kits, kids safety ID, free give-a-ways, local entertainment and Jail and Bail.

Sept. 14 is the Good Samaritan Society -- Blackduck Senior Living Bowl I. An all day bowling fundraiser will be held with shifts from 11 a.m.-9 p.m. at the Blackduck Bowling Lanes. Put together your team of four bowlers.

Sept. 16 will be a golf chipping shoot out and shaved beef dinner at the Blackduck Golf Course. This will be held from 4-6:30 p.m. on the putting green. A community dinner will be served from 4-7:30 p.m. in the clubhouse. A free will donation is appreciated.
