Police report

The Bemidji Police Department responded to the following calls:

Thefts from vehicles

4:37 p.m. Monday, 1400 block of Paul Bunyan Drive Northwest. A brown Guess purse was stolen. It contained identification and prescription medication.

11:30 a.m. Monday, 10th Street Northeast and Paul Bunyan Drive Northwest. Blank checks and personal papers were stolen.

Gas drive-off theft

5:02 p.m. Monday, 2400 block of Paul Bunyan Drive Northwest.

Fireworks complaint

8:47 p.m. Monday, 13th Street Northeast and Lake Boulevard Northeast.

Sheriff's report

The Beltrami County Sheriff's Office responded to the following:


10:07 a.m. Friday, 11900 block of Clearline Road Northwest, Shevlin. Clothing was reported stolen and damaged.

7:40 a.m. Friday, no address listed. A goat was stolen.

8:45 a.m. Monday, 7200 block of Crown Lane Northeast. Jewelry was reported missing.

Peace disturbance

3:19 a.m. Monday, 600 block of Patriot Drive Northwest.

Property damage

12:23 p.m. Monday, 54300 block of state Highway 72 Northeast.

Fire report

The Bemidji Fire Department responded to the following calls:

10:29 a.m. Monday, 100 block of third Street Northwest. Smoke was reported in the hallway, but determined to be caused by unattended cooking. Minor damage was reported to area cabinets.

12:05 p.m. Monday, America Avenue Northwest. Medical call.

4:32 p.m. Monday, Fifth Street Northwest. Personal-injury crash.

8:51 p.m. Monday, 500 block of Sixth Street Southeast.
