Michele Kathryn Krueth, 55, of Kelliher, died July 5, 2010 at her home in Kelliher.
Memorial services were held July 9 at the Northern Point Community Church of the Nazarene in Kelliher with the Rev. Ed Anderson officiating. Arrangements were assisted by the Cease Family Funeral Home of Blackduck.
She was born Sept. 24, 1954 in St. Paul. She was the youngest daughter of James and Mildred (Palacek) McSherry. She attended through the 10th grade at St. John's Catholic School in Roseville. She graduated from Moundsview High School in 1972. She then attended Cosmetology School in Minneapolis for a year.
She married Jim Krueth Oct. 27, 1973 in Roseville. They then lived in Spring Lake Park Gardens for a couple of years and she worked at a beauty salon. They moved to Pierre, S.D. for a couple of years and then moved to Kelliher in 1976, where she had lived since. She worked at LePage Beauty Salon in Blackduck and she then owned and operated Michele's Beauty Salon in Kelliher for 10 years.
After selling her salon in 1989, she worked at the Blackduck Library, Village One Stop in Kelliher and was a volunteer driver for Beltrami County. She enjoyed helping people, especially the elderly. She loved her dogs, collecting old cars and camping. She always lived life to the fullest.
She is survived by her husband, James "Jim" Krueth of Kelliher; three sisters, Mim (Dick) Joyce of Longville, Sharon (Don) Saba of Brooklyn Park and Cindy (Mike) Jeannette of Richfield and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
