Tuesday evening, Jean Tipp visited at Dee's. They had a nice chat.

Friday, Tipp, Lorraine Peck and Dee met in the community room to have supper together. It was brought in by Countryside.

Sunday, July 4, Carol Maurer stopped at the Northome Drive-In and brought a meal in to share with Dee. Then, they watched movies and chatted for a few hours.

Peck joined 30 of her family and friends at the July 4 birthday celebration at Cameron Park in Bemidji. Even though the day began with rain and cloudy skies, they enjoyed the sunny afternoon. Some went swimming and the young ones collected minnows and leeches at the water's edge. Some stayed for the fireworks.

On July 5, residents were saddened to hear the sudden death of Michele Krueth of Kelliher. Several residents appreciated her for the times she took them for their appointments at area clinics. Many got to know her well.

Later that day, LaVonne Peterson stopped by with a box of pictures from the Blackduck History Center to check out names and faces of old times.
