Amber Alert issued in N.D. for girl kidnapped from Canada

The North Dakota Highway Patrol released the following Amber Alert Tuesday evening regarding a child abducted in Canada:

At 6:15 p.m., Monday, Samantha Martyn is believed to have been abducted from Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. Samantha is described as a white 4-year-old girl. She is 3 feet 4 inches tall, weighs 50 pounds and has brown eyes and long brown hair with bangs.

Samantha might be with Christopher Martyn, who might be driving a brown 2007 four-door Ford Taurus with Saskatchewan plate 250-FMA.

Christopher Martyn, 39, is described as 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs 225 pounds. He has short brown hair and brown eyes. He has a scar on his left wrist and a heart tattoo on his upper left arm.

Also, Samantha's mother, Natasha Sentes, is believed to be in the vehicle and may also be endangered. Natasha is a white female and is 34 years of age. The suspect was last known to be traveling southeast from Estevan, Saskatchewan, during the early morning hours.

The patrol is asking anyone with information concerning this incident and/or the whereabouts of this child to immediately contact State Radio by calling 800-472-2121.
