Police report

The Bemidji Police Department responded to the following calls:


7:54 a.m. Wednesday, Bemidji High School. An iPod was stolen from a locker.


11:53 p.m. Wednesday, Backyard BBQ and Grill. A man reportedly hit a bartended with a pool cue and, in the process, struck a nearby woman.


10 a.m. Wednesday, 300 block of Kay Avenue Southeast.

Peace disturbance

1:19 p.m. Wednesday, 18th Street Northwest.

Sheriff's report

The Beltrami County Sheriff's Office responded to the following calls:


2:16 p.m. Wednesday, New Maple Ridge Northeast, Hines. A Honda generator, 7-foot level, two circular saws, a reciprocating saw, a power drill, a cordless drill and two pry bars were stolen. The loss is valued at $2,055. The suspect(s) apparently got into the residence by prying open a locked door.


9:35 p.m. Wednesday, Schroeder Road Northwest. A 7-inch Panasonic portable DVD player was stolen. The loss is valued at $90.
