Minnesota Twins Caravan schedule announced; Laporte stop planned

The Minnesota Twins 50th Annual Winter Caravan has been announced.

The Caravan, sponsored in part by Paul Bunyan Television, is coming to Laporte on Jan. 27 and will be in Grand Rapids Jan. 26.

The Caravan will be in Laporte from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Jan. 27 at 3rd Base. The event is free.

Twins will include outfielder Jason Kubel, pitcher Jesse Crain, mascot TC and radio announcer Dan Gladden.

The Laporte stop is sponsored by Paul Bunyan Television and Paul Bunyan Broadcasting.

The day before, the Caravan, featuring the same team representatives, will stop in Grand Rapids, the Caravan will stop at the Sawmill Inn Jan. 26. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the program begins at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $11 a person, which includes dinner, program and autograph session. Tickets are available at the Grand Rapids Paul Bunyan Telephone office, KOZY/KMFY, and the Sawmill Inn.

The Caravan is the longest-running and most-extensive team caravan in professional sports.
