Funding for government lapses as short-term spending bill stalls in the Senate

Input sought on BSU-NTC president

Area residents are invited to share their ideas regarding the preferred professional and leadership qualities of Bemidji State University and Northwest Technical College's next president.

A guided discussion and listening session will be at 7:30 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 11, in the Ozawindib Conference Room, Hobson Memorial Union, lower level, on the BSU campus.

BSU-NTC President Jon Quistgaard announced recently that he is retiring this summer.

Assisting with the national search for the next BSU-NTC president are Kate Will and Howard Jessamy, representatives of the search firm Witt Kieffer. They will be in Bemidji Jan. 11-12 to meet with various constituent groups, including area residents.
