Monday, Schuett's holiday party was hosted by manager Alma along with Craig from maintenance. The Swedish meatballs and all the trimmings was catered by David of Lueken's. About 26 were served. The evening was filled with old time music and Christmas songs. Vivien Langston played the violin and everyone joined in the sing-a-long.
Thursday, Vivien Langston gave a Christmas program. Leading on the violin was her daughter, Carol and Fred Barnes from Des Moines, IA. John and Ellen Langston of Blackduck shared some poetry. Fred was the emcee. After lunch was served, Vivien recited 'Twas The Night Before Christmas.
Friday, Irma, Onnie and Dee enjoyed the meal brought in by Countryside.
Friday, Lorraine enjoyed a Christmas meal in Bemidji with Lori, Dan and Gaylen Cotten at Ridgewood Baptist Church. After the buffet supper, all of them gathered to sing Christmas songs and exchange White Elephant gifts with each other. About 50 people of all ages attended.
Sunday, Lorraine was on the road again to Bemidji with Lori and Dan.
Gabe and Cindi Dietrich and sons, Ethan and Garrett, got back from North Carolina just ahead of the storm. They came especially to have a Minnesota Christmas with family. Josiah Dietrich flew home from Camp Pendleton, CA, too.
Presbyterian Church carolers strolled through the halls of the apartments Sunday singing carols.
