Funding for government lapses as short-term spending bill stalls in the Senate

Northome Library News

The library will be open weekdays and the Internet accessible computers will be available. However, until the shelves are re-constructed, it will be difficult (but not impossible) to find books to check out. Please stop in and see the new floor coverings, too.

The library is putting out an urgent plea to find people to assist in reconstructing the shelving that has been stored. Anyone willing to volunteer to help with this project should call the Northome Resource Center at 897-5565 for information on the times this work is being done.

Also needed are volunteers to help move the books stored at Ardenhurst Hall back into the library and onto the shelves. If you are willing to help with that, please call Pat Devries at 897-5265 to get put on the list of people who will be called when it is time to do that.

Thanks to all those who have supported the library throughout the remodeling, also for your patience and help, which has contributed greatly to the success of this venture.
