Police report

The Bemidji Police Department responded to the following calls:


5:24 a.m. Thursday, 3900 block of Irvine Avenue Northwest. A resident reported that sometime between10:40 p.m. Wednesday and 5 a.m. Thursday someone stole a Dell Inspiron 1200 US laptop computer valued at $600.

10:09 a.m. Thursday, Lake Bemidji waterfront. A Water Carnival visitor reported that sometime Wednesday night someone stole his wallet containing ID and Social Security cards and $200. He believes his pocket was picked.

11:20 a.m. Thursday, Bemidji Avenue and Sixth Street Northwest. A resident reported the theft of a Schwinn Hybrid bicycle.


1:32 a.m. Friday, 100 block of First Street Northwest. An individual threatened staff and patrons of a bar with a knife. The suspect was located and arrested. Charges of terroristic threats are pending.

10:34 a.m. Thursday, 800 block of America Avenue Northwest.

Gasoline drive-off theft

8:49 p.m. Thursday, 2400 block of Paul Bunyan Drive Northwest.

ATV complaint
