The Bemidji Police Department responded to the following calls:


5:18 a.m. Friday, 800 block of America Avenue Northwest. An Acer laptop computer, Hewlett-Packard computer, Motorola Razr cell phone and a digital camera were stolen. The loss is valued at $1,175.

Gas drive-off theft

1:34 p.m. Friday, 2400 block of Paul Bunyan Drive Northwest.

Property damage

5:29 p.m. Friday, 1400 block of Delton Avenue Northwest.

8:28 p.m. Friday, 700 block of 20th Street Northwest.

Sheriff's report

The Beltrami County Sheriff's Office responded to the following calls:


4:54 p.m. June 5, 1200 block of Birchmont Beach Road Northeast. About $150 worth of items were stolen from a boat.

9:17 a.m. Wednesday, 9400 block of Howling Wolf Drive Northeast. Rollerblades were stolen. The loss is valued at $300.

11:09 a.m. Wednesday, 4000 block of Polk Avenue Southeast. Ramps for all-terrain vehicles and/or motorcycles were stolen.

10:59 a.m. Friday, 3400 block of State Park Road Northeast.

Fire report

The Bemidji Fire Department responded to the following calls:

8:23 a.m. Saturday, U.S. highway 2 and Beltrami County Road 50. A car fire was due to a nest in the engine compartment.
