Thefts from vehicles
8:20 a.m. Wednesday, 2500 block of Minnesota Avenue Northwest. A garage door opener was stolen.
11:30 a.m. Wednesday, 25400 block of Minnesota Avenue Northwest. A CD player, subwoofers and an amplifier were stolen. The loss is valued at $500.
11:29 a.m. Wednesday, 2400 block of Irvine Avenue Northwest. A Nintendo DS and a game cartridge were stolen. The loss is valued at $165.
Motor vehicle theft
4:10 a.m. Thursday, 1600 block of 23rd Street Northwest. A black 1995 Chevrolet Blazer was stolen.
