Sheriff's report

The Beltrami County Sheriff's Office responded to the following calls:

Fraud by credit card

11:15 a.m. Monday, Quincy Drive Southwest. A woman reported unauthorized use of a credit card.

Animal bite

7:46 p.m. Tuesday, Elliot Road Northeast. A dog bit an individual who was running.


7:04 a.m. Tuesday, French Lane Northeast. Fraudulent use of a credit card totaling $259.94 was reported.

Property damage

2:54 a.m. Wednesday, 800 block of Doberman Court Southeast.

Police report

The Bemidji Police Department responded to the following calls:


10:20 a.m. Tuesday, 1200 block of Paul Bunyan Drive Northwest. Prescription medications were stolen from a vehicle.

Vehicle tampering

9:31 p.m. Tuesday, 1300 block of Irvine Avenue Northwest. Someone attempted to pry open a window on a vehicle.

Property damage

2:15 p.m. Tuesday, 300 block of Gould Avenue Northeast.

Peace disturbances

12:30 a.m. Wednesday, 1200 block of Minnesota Avenue Northwest.

12:39 a.m. Wednesday, 900 block of 30th Street Northwest.

The Bemidji Fire Department responded to the following calls:

11:35 a.m. Tuesday, 600 block of Fourth Street Northwest. Medical call, canceled.

2:13 p.m. Tuesday, Sixth Street Northwest and Beltrami Avenue Northwest. Medical call.

3:51 p.m. Tuesday, Bemidji Middle School. Elevator rescue, canceled.

1:03 a.m. Wednesday, 1200 block of Second Street Southeast. Medical call.
