Rural Frazee man recovering after deer stand fall
FRAZEE, Minn. (AP) -- A fall from a deer stand has left a rural Frazee man with multiple broken bones.
Kenneth Post, 69, was working on his stand near his property when the ladder gave way Tuesday and he fell 15 feet.
His daughter, Rena Niemi, said after Post fell he crawled 60 feet to his truck, then drove a mile to his house where a friend called for help.
Post suffered a broken ankle, knee and hip fracture. He was in surgery for six hours and remained in a hospital on Thursday.
Minnesota's firearms deer season opens Saturday.
