Man approaches children in Hubbard County

The Hubbard County Sheriff's Office is seeking information about a man who approached two children and offered to give them a ride.

At about 8:35 a.m. Wednesday, the Sheriff's Office received a report of a suspicious male on County Road 18, 4 miles west of Nevis.

The man allegedly stopped his vehicle where two children were waiting for a Nevis School bus and asked them twice if they would get into his vehicle and offered them a ride. After the children refused the ride, twice, the man then left, traveling west on County Road 18.

The vehicle was reportedly driven by a man described as white and middle-aged with a medium build, having short white hair above the ears and a white mustache and beard, and possibly wearing glasses. He was also wearing a red and black checkered jacket and was driving a silver colored four-door vehicle with four round taillights.
