Mildred Kathlyn Nelson Osburnsen, 90

Mildred Kathlyn Nelson Osburnsen, 90, of Bagley, died on Wednesday, June 13, 2007, at the North Country Regional Hospital.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday at the Grace Free Lutheran Church in Bagley with Rev. Lyle Twite officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be at the Alida Cemetery. The Cease Family Funeral Home in Bagley assisted the family with arrangements.

She was born on Sept. 18, 1916, to Carl and Emelia (Johnson) Nelson in Great Falls, Mont. She married Robert Osburnsen on Oct. 6, 1936 at Billings, Mont. They moved to Denton, Mont, where they had the Oliver Dealership. They moved their business to Lewistown, Mont., in 1953, where they also had a ranch. In 1966, they bought a farm near Zerkel where they had 200 head of cattle. They bought a farm by Alida in 1971. After retirement, they moved two miles north of Bagley. Through the years, she did income taxes for people until and including this present year. She was a member of Alida Lutheran Church and was active with the Ladies Aid. She enjoyed crocheting, quilting and loved to read.

She is survived by her husband of Bagley; daughters, Shirley (Bob) Crabtree of Bagley, Barbara Baker of Lewistown, Mont., Carleen (Ted) Huber of Great Falls, Mont.; sister, Arlene Backlund of Roseburg, Ore.; 12 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Harvey Nelson; sister, Bernice; and a grandson.
