Man runs from police, gets hit by car

MENOMONIE, Wis. — A man fleeing from police ran into the path of a car in Menomonie Saturday evening.

Joshua T. Morrow, 25, Knapp, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was treated at Mayo Clinic Health System in Eau Claire, according to Sgt. William Daniels of the Wisconsin State Patrol.

Shortly before 8:30 p.m., Morrow, who was running from Menomonie police, ran onto Highway 12/29 and was hit by a 2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser driven by Roger E. Salow, 65, Chippewa Falls. The accident happened near Mayo Menomonie Hospital.

A passenger in the vehicle — Linda K. Salow, 65, Chippewa Falls — suffered facial cuts from glass fragments. She was treated for her injuries and released. Roger Salow was not injured.
