Thank You! For supporting the Bemidji State University’s Oct. 2 blood drive

A total of 52 people volunteered to donate blood and 40 were able to give during Bemidji State University’s Oct. 2 blood drive. Fourteen people gave blood on the 2RBC machine, which collects two units of red blood cells. A total of 54 products were collected and 25 donors gave for the first time.

Danielle Wold coordinated the drive and BSU nursing students sponsored the drive. Others who assisted were Jessi Dollinger, Danielle Herlofsky, Ashley Wendt, Kelly Jensen and Amy Baumgartner.

Donations will help meet the blood needs of many patients in 96 area hospitals served by United Blood Services.
