BEMIDJI — Housemates living in Bemidji homes supported by Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota are making unique tie blankets through “Camp Noah” for children who are healing from the devastating events at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn. Camp Noah is a program of LSS where children are invited to share stories and develop important skills such as self-esteem, problem-solving and stress management. The camp has served thousands of children across the country who experience hurricanes, tornadoes, floods and human-caused disasters.
