Moorhead assault, robbery victim struck with bottle

MOORHEAD – Police here are investigating a report of a 45-year-old man being assaulted and robbed Monday evening in a secluded lot in the 600 block of Main Avenue.

The incident is believed to have taken place between 8 p.m. and 9:18 p.m., according to a police report.

The victim told police he was attacked by a man and a woman and during the assault he was struck with a broken bottle.

The victim’s wallet was taken from him and he suffered injuries to his head and arms, the report said.

The victim was taken to the hospital with injuries that were not life threatening, police said.

The male assailant was described as tall and skinny, while the female assailant was described as short and heavy, police said.
