Magnuson, sole proprietor of the company that manages Beltrami County’s solid waste program, will turn over the operation then to Waste Management Inc., an international firm which reported $3.27 billion in revenues for the first quarter ended March 31.

At a special meeting Tuesday, the board voted unanimously to ask voters Nov. 4 to renew the current operating levy of $501 per pupil for another five years.
