There's a new world coming to those who know God

No matter what daily newspaper I read, it is quite evident from the contents that we live in a nation where ...

Debt drives the economy.

More and more citizens are dependent upon government handouts.

Rights are granted to illegal immigrants.

Banks are bailed out, but can still foreclose on those who saved them.

Unborn humans are killed, but animals are declared "endangered."

Evolution is considered fact when genetic biology proves it false.

Same-sex marriage is normal, but husbands and wives with lots of kids are called "crazy."

Followers of Christ are persecuted while Muslims are protected.

Government has replaced God.

It seems to me like we've made a full circle since the Christian pilgrims left Europe for a new world. If I could, I'd probably do what they did and sail for a place of freedom from falsehood and totalitarianism, but no such place exists on the Earth at this time. The truth is, I really don't need to run away because there is a new world coming to those who know and love the God of scripture, which is why we as Bible-believing Christians pray, "Thy Kingdom come ... Come Lord Jesus!"
