Patt Rall Arts Column for Oct. 29: Guitarists to perform for Bemidji Concert Series PressPass

Gothenburg Combo concert will be held at 7:30 p.m., Friday, Oct. 30, in Thompson Recital Hall, Bangsberg Fine Arts Complex on the campus of Bemidji State University, 14th Street and Birchmont Drive. The guitar duo of David Hansson and Thomas Hansy are known for infusing their energy into classic repertoire as well as modern works. The duo is known for playing a concert mixed with the music of Bach and Brahms with Lennon, McCartney and Brian Wilson. This is one of the concerts in the Bemidji Concert Series presented by the BSU Department of Music. Regular season tickets and membership packages are available at the music office on the second floor of Bangsberg Hall, Lueken’s Village North and Tutto Bene. All three ticket outlets will also sell individual event tickets at $20 for the general public and $5 for students for this performance. If available, tickets will also be sold at the door prior to the performance. This series is supported by sponsorships from the Bemidji State University Department of Music, The Bemidji Pioneer, The Villa Calma Bed and Breakfast, Paul Bunyan Telephone and the BSU Student Activity Allocation Committee.
