What is this?
Area residents were able to witness something very unusual for this part of the state March 10. While it looks like a funnel cloud, it was reported to be smoke, possibly from a chimney. The National Weather Service reports had no indication of a tornado anywhere in the state nor did the weather department at the University of Minnesota. A state fire trainer examined the photos taken and said, in his opinion, that this was just smoke. What do you think?
