More than 3,200 people, a record, stopped by to browse the hundreds of crafts, trinkets and local goods being sold from more than 180 booths. Admission proceeds from the event will go toward the Pioneer’s Newspaper In Education program, which provides curriculum materials to help teachers bring real world applications to area classrooms. I’m pretty sure this man with the discerning palate, who can correctly determine the source of flavors in any dish he eats, was just teasing me. I detected a slight grin on his face as I told him it was a rosemary leaf.
