Edmund ‘Slim’ Whitebird, 75, of Bema, died at Sanford Medical Center, Fargo. N.D.
The service was held at 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 22, 2011. Burial was at Fort Snelling, St. Paul, Minn. Arrangements are with Carroll Funeral Home, Deer River, Minn.
He is survived by his sons, Kenneth, Jeffery and Sidney Whitebird; daughters, Myrna and Dorcus Whitebird; sister, Delores Jenkins; brothers, Ernest, Tony and Steve Bebeau; 17 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, Edmund Jr.; a granddaughter; his father, Simon Whitebird; mother, Tina Bebeau; brothers, Francis, and George Bebeau and Joseph Whitebird.
