Evone Mary Rude, 64, of Bemidji, died Tuesday, March 9, 2010, at her home, in Bemidji.
Evone Mary Rude, 64, of Bemidji, died Tuesday, March 9, 2010, at her home, in Bemidji.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 12, at the Cease Family Funeral Home in Bemidji with the Rev. John Yingling officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery in Bemidji, under the direction of the Cease Family Funeral Home of Bemidji.
The pallbearers will be Richard Moen, Roger Moen, Todd Haugen and Rob Yuretich.
She was born Aug. 26, 1945, to Olaf and Anna (Johnson) Rude in Bagley. She was raised and attended school in Gonvick. After graduating, she moved to Bemidji, was married, and had four children. When the children were young she volunteered at the schools, and programs they attended, including the Girl Scouts. She later worked in area nursing homes and assisted living facilities until her retirement. She enjoyed crocheting and knitting, gardening, reading, and spending time with her friends at the Bemidji Senior Center. She also loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her sons, Richard Moen of Bemidji and Roger Moen of Bemidji; daughters, Danelle (Todd) Haugen of Bemidji and Dani (Rob) Yuretich of Bemidji; six grandchildren; brothers, Norman (Rosie) Rude of Gonvick, Victor (Carolyn) Rude of Gonvick, Wendell (Diann) Rude of Bovey, Minn. and Larry (Charlene) Rude of Shelly, Minn.; sister, Karen (Howard) Sjulestad of Goodridge, Minn.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
