Anton “Tony” Raymond Novacek, 96, of Bagley, died Saturday, March 6, 2010, at the First Care Hospital in Fosston.
Anton “Tony” Raymond Novacek, 96, of Bagley, died Saturday, March 6, 2010, at the First Care Hospital in Fosston.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 12, at the Cease Family Funeral Home in Bagley with the Rev. Dave Super officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery in Bagley.
He was born Sept. 10, 1913, to Joseph and Anna (Maruska) Novacek in Ogema, Minn. He moved to Bagley in 1941, and worked as a farm laborer.
He is survived by his sisters, Cecelia Bialke in Colorado and Katherine Patterson of Robbinsdale, Minn. and brother, Jim Novacek of Buffalo, Minn.; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Joseph and sister, Gertie Hamre.
