Mary Ann Bobolink, 49, of Bena, died Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2009, at her home.

Mary Ann Bobolink, 49, of Bena, died Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2009, at her home.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 16, at the Veteran’s Memorial Building in Cass Lake, with Mike Smith officiating. A visitation will begin at 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 14, and will continue until the time of service. Burial will be in the Battle Point Cemetery, Battle Point.

The Dennis Funeral Home of Cass Lake handled funeral arrangements.

She was born April 30, 1960, to William Joseph and Ima Mary (White) Bobolink in Cass Lake. She attended school in Remer, Minn. through the tenth grade and then moved to Minneapolis, where she lived and worked until moving back to the Sugar Point/Bena area in 1982. She lived and raised her children in Bena. She enjoyed netting, ricing, travelling, bough picking, and going to the casino. She also enjoyed attending pow wow’s.

She is survived by her children, Barbara Dick, Aaron Dick and Jenny Dick; special friend, Arno Dick; sisters, Gloria (Duane) Beaudreau, Marian Bobolink and Joann Staples and a brother, Bruce Bobolink.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Caroline Monroe.
