David Gilman Lindom

David Gilman Lindom, 64, of Clearbrook, died Monday, Nov. 10, 2009, at the Good Samaritan Center in Clearbrook.

David Gilman Lindom, 64, of Clearbrook, died Monday, Nov. 10, 2009, at the Good Samaritan Center in Clearbrook.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov., 14, at the Silver Creek Cemetery in Clearbrook with the Rev. Verlyn Strenge officiating. The family invites all hunters to come as you are, and wear your orange hunting clothes. A luncheon will be served following the service at 1:30 p.m. in the Legion room of the Community Center in the old school in Clearbrook. The Cease Family Funeral Home of Bagley assisted with the arrangements.

He was born Feb. 19, 1945, to Gilbert and Grace (Hanson) Lindom in Bagley. After graduating from Clearbrook High School in 1963, he moved to Washington State. He served in the United States Army in Vietnam. After serving, he was employed at Carlton Co., and managed the Golden Valley, Buffalo, Big Lake and Clearbrook Legion Clubs. Due to health reasons, he retired from the Clearbrook Legion and in 2005 entered the Good Samaritan Center in Clearbrook. He was a member of the Clearbrook American Legion Auxilliary Post 256. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, music, deer hunting and being a Legion member.

He is survived by his special friend, Diane; cousins, aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
