Matthew Albert

Matthew David Albert, 27, of Shooks, died Oct. 21, 2009 at North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale.

Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Oct. 31 at the River of God Church in Big Falls with Pastor Tim Treat officiating. Burial was in the Margie Cemetery in Margie with Pastor Randy Reimer officiating at the committal service. Cease Family Funeral Home in Blackduck assisted the family with arrangements.

He was born Oct. 14, 1982 in International Falls. He grew up in Margie where he developed his love for the outdoors. He loved his boys and spending time with them, instilling in them, his love for hunting and fishing and the great outdoors.

He graduated from Northome High School in 2001 where really enjoyed shop class. He worked hard as a logger, mechanic and construction worker. He was a kind hearted and generous man.

He is survived by four sons, Johnnie, David, Peter and Thomas; a sister, Melissa Albert of St. Anthony; his foster parents, Allyn and Geraldine Reimer of Margie; foster siblings and his biological parents.
