The North Country Community Health Board has been awarded a Statewide Health Improvement Program grant. The Minnesota Department of Health awarded 39 grants in communities to help lower the number of residents who use tobacco or who are obese or overweight. The North Country CHB serves the residents of Beltrami, Clearwater, Hubbard and Lake of the Woods counties.
