Laura, Pindy and Chic - Marlene will always be remembered as a very special person and how she loved her children.... plus half the kids in Cass Lake! I remember always saying hi to her at the hospital and how nice she treated all! She will be missed by everyone she touched through out her life. Remember all the wonderful times you had with her... and the fact that she will be watching over you from heaven. One more angel to guide us through life. Love - Heidi (Bogda) Bilyeu

I always thought of your mother, wondering what she was doing, hoping she was happy. We spent many hours together riding around in the woods just looking at trees and the surrounding. She liked going to Winnie Campgrounds looking at the lake. We had many laughs. I always felt she saved my life when I was in the hospital after my motorcycle accident. She would come and visit me and one of the visits she she told me to ask the medical staff to transfer me to a different hospital because she knew there was something else wrong. I want to say that she was a caring, loving person. We know she is in Gods hands, looking down at us and saying, enoy life and love each other. I know you will miss her. Esther Bogda

To the Dick Family, I am SO sorry to hear the loss of your mother. I worked with her when I was still in High School in Cass Lake. She made me laugh and taught me many things. She was a wonderful person and so full of life. She always smiled and wanted to do so much for the reservation. She will be missed, she is one of the people that made a difference in my life. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time.
