Property tax conferees agree on aid for Beltrami County

BREEZY POINT, Minn. – Lt. Gov. Carol Molnau, ousted from her dual post earlier this year as transportation commissioner, is taking on new duties that include being an administration link to American Indian tribes. That could include stepping into the funding dispute Beltrami County has with the state over providing out-of-home placement services to the Red Lake Band of Chippewa children.
