Letter: Don’t let real estate issue bar homeownership dream

I have been keeping up with the real estate mess that’s been created in Bemidji and I am frankly disturbed about it but not surprised. I worked for a mortgage broker in Bemidji back in 2001 and left after seeing some of the deals that were being done. After leaving, I was considered the “bad” guy. I was vindicated as I was called to testify at his trial a few years later.
