Letter: Events center needs to make money, or forget it
In a recent letter Marv Vaerst asked, “Will the city ask for help” from the county to help pay for the annual net operating deficit for the events center. Who in their right mind (except the government) would build something that they know is going down the tubes each year and that taxpayers will have to bail out?
