Spring snowstorm hits sports hard

Old Man Winter made his final blow his worst. At a time when the ball fields were bare, the courts and tracks were dry and the spring seasons seemed ready to roll, the weatherman dumped two feet of snow on the area starting just before midnight Saturday night and continuing into Monday morning.
