Letter: Times article on McCain had no evidence to support it

One of the best traditions of the United States is its free press. No one should want anyone to so control the news that we can’t have an informed electorate. And a free press is bound to have different opinions and slants. It’s the responsibility of readers to see what is said on both sides, and make up their own minds.
