Northern Elementary School class will raise lake trout

A fifth-grade class at Northern Elementary School welcomed a new arrival this week — 500 lake trout eggs. Teacher Jeff Wade’s class will raise the lake trout from eggs to fry throughout the school year as part of Trout in the Classroom, a national environmental education program for K-12 students.
