Juvenile Center shortfall causes rate hike, staff cuts

PARK RAPIDS — The Northwestern Minnesota Juvenile Center will charge $8 more per day for all services effective Jan. 1 in an attempt to stop its income loss. Revenues at the facility in Bemidji fell nearly $268,000 through Sept. 30.
