Nickelodeon, the #1 network for kids—and Paul Bunyan Telephone invite area kids to visit the “SpongeBob SquarePants Photo Splash” a free, interactive photo opportunity featuring the squeezable star of Nickelodeon’s popular animated series, SpongeBob SquarePants. The event will be held from 1-4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 21, at the Blackduck Wayside Park, as part of the Blackduck Chamber of Commerce’s annual Backwoods Bash. The event is free of charge and open to the public. Children and adults can stop by the SpongeBob SquarePants inflatable and get their picture taken with their favorite Nickelodeon character. Visitors should bring their own camera. Paul Bunyan Telephone Cooperative offers phone, Internet and television services to region covering more than 4,500 square miles including the cities of Blackduck, Bemidji, Grand Rapids, Red Lake, Kelliher, Deer River and Northome.
