The Center for Research and Innovation will host a free Natural Resources Consortium: Biocontrols on Invasive Species from 3-4 p.m. Monday, March 22, at 3801 Bemidji Ave. N., Suite 4. Marsha Watland of the Becker County Soil and Water Conservation District will share photos and discuss her experiences with biocontrol projects designed to address invasive species such as leafy spurge and spotted knapweed. In addition, she will discuss lessons learned from these projects and information about beetle harvest.
