Region 2 Arts Council Press Conference

The Region 2 Arts Council will hold a press conference to announce the new Arts and Cultural Heritage (Legacy) grants and programs at 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 5, at Bemidji Community Arts Council (BCAC), 426 Bemidji Ave., in the Carnegie Library. The event is free and open to the public. This roll out announcement will include a brief talk by legislators who wish to speak about the Legacy amendment. Sue Gens, the executive director of the Minnesota State Arts Board and Sheila Smith the director of MN Citizens for the Arts will also be present. R2AC grants are available to residents in Beltrami, Clearwater, Hubbard, Mahnomen and Lake of the Woods counties. The deadline for this grant is Wednesday, Feb. 10.
