First Friday Art Walk and Opening Reception: Wild Hare

Wild Hare Bistro and Coffee House will host an opening reception for painter Alice Linda from 3-5 p.m. Friday, at 523 Minnesota Ave. N.W. Linda, a graduate of Bemidji State University with a BFA in painting, Alice is a master of portraiture, excelling at captur-ing light, experimenting with color, and finding an essence within her subjects, all only using her fingers. Her exhibit is titled, “The News Rule of Femininity: A Show For My Daughter.” Wild Hare also features its own culinary artists at the First Friday Wine Bar from 5-9 p.m., Friday with a new menu every month and a wine and beer list to match.
