Intro to Air Rifle/Air Pistol Class

Beltrami County 4-H Shooting Sports will host an introduction to Air Rifle/Air Pistol Class from 6-8 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, beginning Nov. 17 and continuing until Dec. 22, at the Rako Street Police Range, Bemidji. The cost is $10 per person and is open to all youth currently enrolled in 4-H and in fourth grade or higher. A parent or guardian is required to attend with each youth the first night of class. After the first night, youth may be dropped off for the evening. The class will cover range commands, gun safety, shooting techniques and wildlife education. Air rifles and air pistols will be provided. Participants should bring a pair of safety glasses. 4-H members that wish to participate in the Beltrami County 4-H Shooting Sports Air Rifle, Air Pistol or .22 Rifle program which begins in January, have to complete this beginner course.
