Northwoods Politics: Persell sees DFL opposition
Nicole Beaulieu of Bemidji filed March 4 with the State Campaign Finance and Public Disclosure Board as a House 4A DFL candidate, forcing a faceoff with Rep. John Persell, DFL-Bemidji. I haven't been able to talk with Ms. Beaulieu, so it's unknown if she plans to fight Persell for the DFL endorsement, which is next Saturday morning at Walker, or take Persell directly to the Aug. 10 primary election.
