Josh Turner opened his show at the Sanford Center with his album title track “Deep South” on Thursday evening. The country singer heads to Rapid City, S.D. for another show tonight and Minot, N.D. after that.

Turner has released six albums to date, the latest of which was his 2017 release “Deep South.” Together, his albums have sold more than 12 million copies, gaining Grammy, Country Music Association and Academy of Country Music award nominations. His professional career has been more than a decade in the making after he released his first album “Long Black Train” in 2003.
