Drama Club presents fall production

LAPORTE — The Laporte School Drama club presents “The Ash Girl,” 7:29 p.m. tonight, Friday and Saturday at the Laporte School, 315 Main St. W, Laporte.

“The Ash Girl” presents a modern retelling of the Cinderella story. Cost is $7 for adults and $4 for students.

History Center final weekend of year

SHEVLIN — The History Center will be open from 12:30 to 4 p.m. Sunday at 264 First St. W. in Shevlin.

This will be the last weekend hours of the year. Regular hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and by appointment.

The exhibits “Clearwater County Disasters,” “County Life in the 1930’s” and “Clearwater County and the Korean War” will end Dec. 20. Call 785-2000 for more information.

Meet local author and adventurer

BEMIDJI — Polly Keith Scotland, author of “By Foot, Pedal, or Paddle,” will be discussing her book from 4 to 6 p.m. Dec. 3 at Kat’s Book Nook, 750 Paul Bunyan Drive NW.

There will be an opportunity to get an autographed copy of the book.
